On November 1st 2000, I started a new adventure: a mailing list in Yahoo!Groups  (in English) where mostly of the European Turkish Angora breeders could have a meeting point and share our knowledges and experiences about this beloved breed. At that time, TUA breeders were not very united, only some sporadic contacts by email...

The answer was surprising, because not only European TUA breeders joined our group, but also many USA breeders. Today we´re nearly 180 members from very different countries: Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Japan, USA, Canada, Turkey, Russia, United Kingdom...
 

In TUAEB we´ve discussed questions about the TUA standard in CFA, FIFe or WCF; feeding cats & kittens; reproductive questions; selective breeding; inbreeding and outcrosses; Genetic; and the polemical German laws forbidden breeding white cats. We´ve also talked about shows results, points, championships... and we usually announce here our litters too.

There were moments for friendship, Poetry, discussions, a moved 'farewell' for the cats & kittens who passed away... and solidarity that September 11th 2001: some TUAEB members were there at that terrific time, and we could help each other in the distance. From time to time, we´ve some hard discusions, so it´s not a perfect 'paradise'!!!

On December 2001 I started a new project, our own website, TURKISH ANGORA_web, a site for intensify the relations between TUAEB members that includes: members links, available litters, TUA standards, colors and codes, photo gallery, TUA champions, studs, next events and shows, etc...
